Enhancement of the age of Superannuation from (60) years to (62) years to the outsourced employees/Workers, APCOS employees/Workers, NMRs etc. -Not applicable – Orders issued – Communicated for further action – Reg.
The attention of all the Municipal Commissioners of ULBs in the State to the references cited and inform that the Municipal Workers Unions and outsourcing
workers/NMRs are requesting the Government and undersigned to enhance the age of Superannuation from (60) years to (62) years to the outsourced employees/Workers,
APCOS employees/Workers, NMRs etc., on par with Government employees.
In this regard, it is to inform that in the reference 1st cited, Government have informed that “Government have issued orders vide G.O.Ms.No.15, Finance (HR.IVFR&IR) Dept., dated 31.01.2022 for enhancement the age of superannuation from (60) years to (62) years in respect of the State Government Employees covered under the
Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Regulation of Age of Superannuation) Act, 1984, w.e.f., 01.01.2022. it is not applicable to the Outsourced Employees/ APCOS
Employees/NMRs.
Further, Government has also informed that there is no provision for sanction of Gratuity to the employees working on contract and outsourcing basis/NMRs”.
3. Therefore, all the Municipal Commissioners of ULBs in the State are requested to MAU02-14024/304/2023-K SEC-CDMA I/4018513/2025 follow the above Government instructions, without fail.
