School Education – Teacher Education – Strengthening of all District Institute of Education and Training (DIETs) – Filling up of the Teaching vacancies by way of deputations from eligible School Assistants / Headmasters/Mandal Educational Officers for the year 2025-26 – Selection Procedure — Orders
1. The notification for filling up of the vacant posts in DIETs by way of Deputation under FSTC is issued herewith.
2. The interested teachers/Headmasters can submit the applications from 01.04.2025 to 10.04.2025.
3. The detailed terms and conditions are also attached herewith.
4.They are further requested to strictly adhere to the timelines prescribed in the notification.

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, and Principals of DIETs in the state, there are teaching vacancies in DIETs which could not be filled up due to court cases on unified service rules. It is not feasible to consider to promote the school assistants/Headmaster’s/Mandal Educational Officers and post in regular vacancies of the teaching positions in DIETs. There is a dire need to provide teaching faculty to impart regular academic instructions to the teacher
trainees in DIETs.
In this connection, the Department of School Education prepared an action plan to strengthen the DIETs for the academic year 2025-26. As per
this Plan, it is decided to fill up the regular teaching staff vacancies in the DIETs through written test and interview on deputation under FSTC basis from the eligible School Assistants/Headmaster’s/Mandal Educational Officers working in Govt./Zilla Parishad/Municipal Management Schools in their respective erstwhile districts in the State.
For the smooth selection procedure, a committee has been constituted herewith for receiving the applications from the interested eligible candidates and complete the entire process for filling up of the vacant teaching posts (as per G.O.MS.No.1 Dated:01-01-2016) The committee to be constituted with the following officers:
1. District Collector (Erstwhile district) : Chairman
2. District Educational Officer (Erstwhile district) : Convenor
3. Principal of the concerned DIETs : Member
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education /District Educational Officers/ Principals of DIETs in the State are requested to follow the instructions/guidelines issued for the selection of teaching faculty for DIETs in their respective districts. The detailed guidelines for the deputation of the teachers to work in the DIETs are appended in the annexure.
The salaries of the deputation staff will be paid from the respective DIETs only.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education/District Educational Officers/ Principals of DIETs in the State are requested to adhere to the given guidelines and complete the entire process within the stipulated time and submit the compliance report to the undersigned by submitting the list of selected candidates considered for deputation for approval.
The entire process shall be completed on or before 22nd April,2025.These deputations are purely on a temporary basis on administrative convenience and do not confirm any right to the candidates to claim either seniority or regularization in the said post. An undertaking has to be submitted by the candidates to the principals of the concerned DIETs.
